At the Warrenton Church of Christ, we hope you'll find a warm, friendly group of people committed to making church exciting, life-changing, and meaningful. There are classes, small groups, and services for the whole family: times for worship, biblical teaching and an opportunity to make a decision to follow Jesus Christ.
Thanks for checking us out this Sunday!

Bible classes begin at 9:30 a.m., and our worship service begins at 10:30. In between, you can grab some fellowship and a cup of coffee!

Who We Are:

The Warrenton Church of Christ is a warm, welcoming family of Christians from diverse backgrounds.  We reach out to one another with God’s love, God’s unity and God’s purpose.  Then, together, we reach out to our community.

Our Values are rooted in our faith in the scriptures and what they teach us about our relationship to God and to each other.

“Value: to consider with respect to worth, excellence, usefulness, or importance.”

1: To grow into spiritual maturity, making disciples who are Christ-centered and equipped to serve

2: To connect with and care for each other, fostering real relationships and harmony within the church family.

3: To serve with a missional perspective, looking with an outward focus to impact our community for Christ.

Or, to put it another way…

Knowing Christ,

Showing Christ,

Sharing Christ with our world.

We strive to live out our faith in our daily lives.  Our fundamental belief in God’s inspired word provides the basis for all that we do. We have no human creeds to apply as doctrine.

Knowing Christ:   Together we seek to be fully devoted followers and to know Christ more intimately by participating in weekly church services, care groups, and other Bible studies.

Showing Christ: As Christians we should show our faith in the way we live our daily lives.  Our members try to love and serve others.

Sharing Christ:  Knowing and showing Christ in our daily lives, we are then able to share Christ with our community.

The church is served by three elders, a pulpit minister, and a youth minister.
Bob Hoagland lives in the Warrenton area. His four children are grown and Bob and Mary are enjoying having three grandchildren.
Bill Powell works in the DC/Maryland area. He and his wife Fran have three children and a daughter-in-law.
Tom Ryon is a retired pilot who has made his home in Warrenton for several years. His children are grown and delighting him and his wife Cathy with several grandchildren.
Bob Kolodner has been the pulpit minister at the church for the past 11 years. He and his wife Nancy have two sons and a daughter-in-law.
Chris Abernethy came to us in June of 2015 from Raleigh, North Carolina. He serves as our youth minister and coordinates worship as well. He brings a thoughtful presence and wry wit to our church family.
